Raven and Blue Sandstone

Description

Ravens symbolize wisdom, the afterlife, trickery, and intelligence.  It is also considered to be an excellent teacher and guide.  This glittery feathered raven sits atop a very sparkly piece of blue sandstone.  Blue Sandstone, or Star Stone is an artificial gem, but has been given meaning and symbolysm. . It is not a new creation, scholars believe that is was created in the 17th century by a Venetian family of glassmakers. It is created using things such as glass, quartz, cobalt and sand. Because of the properties within the stone, it is believed to be the “stone of ambition”. This stone mimics a beautiful, dark and starry night bringing its wearer a sense of calmness just as if you were out stargazing. It is a stone to help you recognize yourself, trust yourself, and help you heal yourself. As you gaze into this deep blue stone, you will feel the stress of the day slowely melt away.   Each pendant will also come with a stainless-steel chain.

The pendant was created using a wire armature and cosclay.  Cosclay is a specialized hybrid plastic/rubber polymer clay that retains some flexibility after curing.  This unique flexibility adds a durable and resilient quality to the piece that allows it to be handled.  It is hand painted using artist grade acrylic paints and sealed with a clear coat to help protect the beautiful colors.

Package can be shipped either USPS or UPS.  Each piece will be carefully wrapped, protected and boxed.

However rare, damage can never be ruled out as a possibility.  Due to this possibility, I will photograph and insure prior to its shipment.     I ask that when the package arrives, you take video or photos of the package and its contents.  This will help ensure that if there is damage caused by the shipping company, there is proof and a claim can be easily filed.

If anything happens to your pendant during or after shipment, please reach out to me.  I will try my best to help and to keep you happy with your new friend!  Most issues are minor and can be easily fixed with a little bit of E6000.
